Ingrid Bolsø Berdal hot


Ingrid Bolsø Berdal started learning music and singing in highschool and when graduating she continued her music education at the University of Trondheim (NTNU), learning jazz singing and improvisation for 2 years. She moved to Oslo and was accepted at Oslo National Academy of Dramatic Arts (KHiO), where she studied acting for 3 years.

In her second year of Drama faculty Ingrid played Sofia in "Platonov" (Chekhov) and Antigone in "Antigone" (Sophocles). In her final year she played The lady in "The Name" (Jon Fosse) and Hedda in "Hedda Gabler" (Henrik Ibsen).

Since graduating Ingrid Bolsø Berdal has been utilized at The Norwegian Theatre in Oslo. when her 1st year at the theatre Ingrid was awarded the Hedda Award (The Norwegian Theatre Award) for Best Debut of The Year. throughout her years at the theatre she has played each classical and modern plays, like Sasha in "Ivanov" (Checkhov), Shura in "Black Milk" (Sigarev) and Yvonne in "Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy" (Gombrowicz).

In between her stage work Ingrid Bolsø Berdal has conjointly been operating with radio theatre, TV and film. She has won the Amanda Award (The Norwegian Film Award) for Best Actress - for Jannicke within the feature film Cold Prey (2006).
